Jacques BARBIER, Doctor of Music, Professor at Tours University. Specialist in 15th and 16th century music.

Catherine BOLZINGER, Professor of direction of choir to the Academy of Strasbourg, Artistic director of the Choir of Chamber of Strasbourg and Che of choir of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Strasbourg.

SCHEDULE :
The course will take place from Saturday, August 9 at 12 pm to Saturday, August 16, at 12 pm.
Around Pange lingua: study of the various versions of Pange lingua during the revival and other sacred details which are connected to it (Ave verum corpus, Tantum ergo or O sacrum convivium) written by composers as Josquin Desprez, R. de Lassus, T. de Vittoria, Thomas Tallis, W. Duruflé, Kodaly, Kverno or Busto Byrd as well as later versions chosen at Pergolèse, Schubert, Bruckner, Rachmaninov.
The choral activity is practised in the morning and at the end of the day, the beginning of the afternoon being dedicated to visits (Ermenonville, senlis, abbaye de Chaalis, Meaux...).
Public hearing at the end of training course.
